Discovery

Julie detected a lump in her breast through a self-exam and immediately took action to have it checked out. Her action emphasizes the importance of regular self-exams and cannot be understated. On March 30, 2009, Julie went in for a mammogram.

Julie's detection of this lump set into motion a series of events which are frightening, but faith affirming. Our life with cancer is uncertain, especially since Julie is only 34 and our children are so young. However, despite this uncertainty, we are confident in the Lord's sovereignty and we have come to trust Him and His Word to get us through these difficult days.
